The Mission Oaks Park and Recreation District also has an off duty Sheriff's patrol. If the problem is in the park or involves the park, you can call the non-emergency dispatch number for the Sheriff's Dept. (874-5115) and ask for the "Mission Oaks Park Patrol Off Duty Officer". That may bring a quick response.
This is applicable for all the District's parks in our neighborhood (Sierra Oaks & Oak Meadow). While this is certainly another resource it is important to know that the District's parks extend almost up to Auburn Blvd. and the patrol officer may be on the other side of the District.
As always, if in doubt - 911 may be the best alternative.
